I have just belatedly received this unofficial DVD, and what an excellent portfolio of 60's and 70's Hollies music, quality more than good enough for material up to 40 odd years old.
note to hollies management: this is exactly what the fans were screaming for 10 - 15 years ago then in video format of course.
Hope whoever produced this dvd can follow up with a volume 2 featuring Hollies music from the 80's and early 90's

Where can this DVD be purchased and can it be viewed on a US DVD player?

Hi Tony,
I agree, it's a great DVD, yes a Volume 2 would be brilliant.
What a pity the powers to be have never thought to bring out a video/DVD of the band. Everytime there is a hint of one something happens and it's lost forever.
Not hard to see why there is a big trade in bootleg material.
I had never seen the Air that I breathe clip before, it's fantastic.
This is the DVD we fans needed to have.
Anthony

Just discovered the DVD plays in all 6 channels, which I hadn't expected. No surround mix of course, but nice nevertheless....

It depends. The disc is "all regions", but that doesn't mean it will play on a Region 1 (USA) player. It didn't play on my Sony. Then I soon learned that while you can get all regions players through the Internet, it is illegal to sell them at retail, at least in this country, due to copyright laws (don't ask me why DVDs are treated differently than CDs or I will heartlessly refer you to an attorney so he or she can explain it!). However, a sympathetic salesman at a local retail electronics store told me that while this is technically true, he knew from experience that a certain Phillips player, though labeled Region 1, would play all regions DVDs.

I bought one. He was right. I'm Very Happy .

If for no other reason, buy it just to see the intro of the band members before "Look Through Any Window" on an American music show (Shindig or similar), probably in the fall of '65. Cheesy...but also hilarious!
