Did the above track ever come out as a single Question I thought it was supposed to, but I've never heard anything about it. Confused

Me neither.

How are we supposed to to support them and buy their singles if we are never given any information?

Wish management would tell us what is going on.

Doomed to obscurity, much like "Staying Power" I'm afraid. Sad

I popped into my local HMV store the other day asking if they had any Hollies stuff.

The only cd album they had on display was a greatest hits one, the one with the big chimneys on the front.

They said they had two Staying Power.

I asked about singles, and Suspended Animation, they said it wasn't even released.

So much for voting in the poll!

Cliff Richard don't release much each year these days, but if he says he is going to release an album or single, he does do it.

"Suspended Animation" is far and away the best track on SP. It sounds like a hit record to me. But as I sit here, I have "Shine On Me" going through my head. I couldn't help thinking, while listening to "Yesterday's Gone", how this would sound if the Clarke/Sylvester/Hicks or Rickfors/Sylvester/ Hicks lineup were doing it. Unfortunately, I just can't get into much of anything else. So, for me, it's 3 good tracks, (just like "What Goes Around"), with "Suspended Animation" being the hit, and "Shine On Me" the follow-up.

EMI should do more to promote the album and of course singles. It is annoying for the fans and it is almost as if they are a underground group and not mainstream.
