Hey Wink

I'm new to this board, so hello to everyone. Doesn't seem to be a newbies forum, so this looks like the only place to do it.

I'm a bit more an 80s girl to be honest, but love loads of me mam's 60s stuff aswell. Especially the Beatles, the Hollies and the Animals.

Havin trouble getting my avatar to upload, does anyone know if you have to have a certain amount of posts before you're allowed one? Or are you only allowed the ones from the gallery?

xx

The problem with the avatars is related to file size. You can only upload very small files. However, you can link larger ones that you post yourself.

Anyway, the board isn't only for grizzled veterans. Join in, create a new post about a favorite Hollies song or album, and see what replies you get!

yeah I'm just actually reading your post from the 'New Avatars' thread, which i hadn't seen when i posted this - sorry.

i'm on other boards so I know the craic - just normally there's a newbie forum where you don't annoy people by posting off topic. anyway it's no harm, just findin me way round!!!

Ta!

It's a bit of a pain most of the time though, I get called all sorts by people who don't get it, it's not a common name even in Ireland.

That's why I called my son James, nice and easy!!

I called my son James also, I thought it sounded nice and was hoping he might become a chauffeur Smile . My one dread is that people will start calling him Jim or Jimmy.

He was Jamie when he was a baby, but he goes mad now if anyone calls him that. Teenagers eh Rolling Eyes

Ceire

You need to remove one of the slashes (/) from your avatar address- you have three at the moment and only need two.
