What song from the new album, Staying Power, would you like to be released as a single.
Obviously, this does not include Hope, So Damn Beautiful and Shine On Me. |

I see that from the votes so far, though not many have been cast yet, Suspended Animation is in the lead.
The thing I like most about this one, I do love all the others by the way, is that it is different and it is has a nice 'summery' sound.
It would be good to see this one as a single, specially during the spring/summer months.
Don't the radio stations and clubs have one particular song they play all summer, it would be good if it was Suspended Animation. |

Not having the CD in my possession leaves me at a bit of a disadvantage. However, I'd have to cast my vote for "So Damn Beautiful", which I first heard during Tony's recent in-studio interview on Capital Gold. It has such a strong contemporary flavor
and I'd just love to see it land a place in the UK charts. Once I get to hear the CD I expect there may be other tracks that have a similar appeal. |

Hi Rob,
Does this poll mean that there maybe a single released in the near future?
It would be good if they had another crack at it. What is a pity is though, there are 267 registered members of this site and only 14 people have voted .
Last day to vote today folks. |

I would like to vote but I haven't got the album yet. I'd vote for a rocking uptempo song... |

It was difficult to make a choice because there are more songs I love (Suspended Animation, Break me, Let love pass,...). But finaly I go for Suspended animation.
Which song they will choose as a new single, they always have my support

Ok, I have cast my vote, I have to point out I have not really voted for my favorite track. Just the one I think would do well as a single to non fans etc, so to speak.
Has everyone else took that aproach too when they voted.

Martin,
I took the same approach also.
But at the same time I voted for the one I liked best as well as one which I hope would appeal to all.
I know we all have different opinions over the songs and have not all voted for the same one, but the one I voted for, and I have said which one previously as well, I think would appeal to lots of people, other than just the usual 'slow, love song type' of tune, which in all honesty going by today's music does not. Gone are the days when every musician/band was popular and everyone done well in the charts.
I love Prove Me Wrong, Emotions etc. But would they do much better as a single, than Suspended Animation or Live It Up? |

Hi All,
Ive gone for Touch me, its Bryan Adams sounding intro and guitar is very radio friendly at the moment so might get the guy's alot of airplay, I took the approach that alot of you did and picked the song that i thought would do well on the radio etc. to get people hooked in.
Best Wishes

If any future tracks from Staying Power were to be released as a single, would it also suffer the same fate as "So Damn Beautiful" and result in downloadable only file? |

Let's hope not Holliesfan.
Well the day has come to an end now, and it looks like that Suspended Animation has one the vote. I wonder when we'll get to hear if this was a just for fun poll or there is a potential single release in the very near future . |
