Adult orientated music is album driven anyway. The older music is more likely to buy a cd album rather than a single. The single should have at least 4 tracks to make it worthwhile. Maybe it should have had the 2 songs, a remix of "SDB" and (maybe) another new track or a live version of one of the big hits. That would make the cd single so much better value (though a bit more expensive to release).

But singles still make good promotion for the album, especially if there's a promo video too. Which raise the question; has there been a Hollies promo video since 'Stop In The Name Of Love'? I haven't seen one myself.
