I've got my fingers and toes crossed that Staying Power will be successful and result in propelling the Hollies back into the limelight. With that being said, does anyone think the Hollies would ever consider having an album produced by a known artist (e.g., Jeff Lynne, Phil Collins) on their follow-up album? Yes Virginia, I did say follow-up album....hey, I'm an eternal optimist, what can I say...? |

Don't know if Jeff Lynne will still be up to the job in 2028...... |

I love ELO very much, but I cannot picture Jeff producing The Hollies. Everything he produces sounds the same, drums far too prominent in the mix. |

Why not Phil Collins? He has a penchant for churning out contemporary jewels and alot of his material has had HIT written all over it. |

I gather there are no Phil Collins fans on this website. Therefore, it appears he has no support at all, from Hollies fans perspective, to produce a future album. Is there anyone else whom you feel might make for a top notch producer, should the Hollies decide to even go with someone else? |
