So, who is going to the Royal Albert Hall next week.

I'll be there so if you see me about, do say hello.

And, of course, I'll be looking for reviews of the show.

Hi Rob - I'll be there with my wife and her sister who's flying in from Italy that day (although she doesn't know she's going to the gig yet). Really looking forward to it. We're staying in a nearby hotel so we don't have to rush back to North London - in case the boys feel like staying on stage for a few more hours.

Hi Rob and hello to everybody,

I'm new here. Great forum. I'm going to RAH with my wife and my 12-years old daughter. We come from Germany and stay in London till Sunday morning.

I've seen the Hollies several times live in Germany a lot of years ago and with Carl a few years ago in Cambridge.

We will enjoy the show. Hope, a lot of people are there.
And of course I'll buy the sampler at the concert.

Hi Rob - the RAH is a BIG place . . . any idea where you're going to be hovering??

I know my tickets are for door 9, which I presume has its own bar area.

Would be great to meet up with you again.

John

Rob is out with the band so won't see your post, John. However he moves around a lot and usually has his camera bag with him. I'm travelling down today so will pass on your info and I'm sure he'll be looking out for everyone.

Lesley

What a Night !!!!!

The Hollies live at The Royal Albert Hall.

The four new Songs was fantastic, also the "old" Hits,The baby ans The Day That Curly Billy.......,I had heard the very first time live in my life.

My Greatest wih for the Future;

After the release from the new Album in February,a DVD with Music Videos and live Shows from EVERY Hollies Decade.

And,last, not least,a great Germany Tour without Support.

Tanks For The Memories from Friday Nigt,

Volker

I was a little aprehensive as this was my first Hollies concert since I have been in a wheelchair. I need not have worried.
The whole night was an occasion to treasure in the memory. I had reservations about the sound post Allan and Carl but the lead vocals were all excellant old songs and new. Peter Howarth gives 'The Hollies' a fresh vibrant sound different from before. The group has always been special and the best by far to my mind. The new album will start a whole new exciting chapter for 'The Hollies' and all their fans.
The only downside to a fantastic night was the Albert Hall itself in that my carers seat was behind a pillar so she could hardly see a thing.

Many thanks Hollies for a memorable night can't wait for the next tour.
Regards
Paul
