Hi everybody i came across the Dakotas website recently
www.sleepyjoe.com
and there is a video clip of our guys performing Here I Go Again.
I think the performance is from the Clumber Park gig in August where they were on stage with the Dakotas. It also has Ian Harrison standing in for the late Carl.
Best Wishes
Kim

Well spotted, Kim. I've just watched it and you are correct. It was from the Clumber Park gig in August. I was there but didn't realise anyone was filming it. It's a pity there aren't more of these video clips.

Hello John & Kim,

You are correct it was the Clumber Park gig that the song was filmed at,as it was myself that shot the video for my site SleepyJoe.com.

I did also record "Yes I Will" which I plan to put on my site as my video of the week in 3 weeks time.Unfortunately I had to leave early that night,as I was having car trouble and wanted to leave before the other 10,000 people started to depart,so they were the only two songs that I managed to record(though I did capture some songs from the Dakotas & the Troggs).
I did also take some photographs that can be seen on my site,by going to the photo reviews page and clicking on the Clumber Park link.

I must say that I thought that Ian Harrison did an excellent job, considering during the afternoon he was sat backstage with his walkman on learning the songs!

Regards

Mike Abbott

Hi Mike
Yes, Ian Harrison did a great job standing in at Clumber Park. He's actually stood in before at a concert in Germany the year before. I've just ckecked out your Sleepy Joe website and you have some excellent videos and photos. Hope you can fit in some more Hollies concerts in 2005.

Hi Folks
Just watched the video, tough job to stand in for Carl Wayne as I believe he did at short notice last year. All credit to him for doing the gig,but his image didnt half remind me of the 80s band Tempole Tudor (see link below) http://www.bbc.co.uk/totp2/features/wallpaper/images/1024/tenpole_tudor.jpg

As SleepyJoe stated, he recorded Yes I will too, and they are both to be downloaded from his site.

Some one I spoke to the other week said they had played golf with someone who sang with The Hollies as a stand in. I can only presume they mean, Ian Harrison.

Is he from Blackpool as well as Peter does anyone know?
