Unfortunately, although I had planned to get the site done by January, due to my injuries and the amount of work involved, I have not had the time and because there is a tour planned for later this year, rather than wait any longer, it was decided to go with the site before it is actually as complete as I would have liked and there is still much to do.
Photos will be added when I have the time in between my hospital visits.
Yes, this site is the Official site but it is still a one man operation and has to be completed as and when I can do it.
There will be older photos amongst the newer ones and I have some other ideas but the majority of pics will be of the current members of the band because that is The Hollies today. There is not an unlimited source of pics that have never been seen before but I am trying to get some to compliment the site. If there were 'thousands' of them, they would have been used in brochures through the years.
The site will not sell autographs for the time being but who knows.
Every major music retailer has as much catalogue of The Hollies that you are going to find, there are loads of them on the net and every city in the world. There is no link from this site to point anyone in that direction but there will be soon a link to Magic records that has put out some interesting stuff of late.
The line ups are coming soon too.
I asked for suggestions at the beginning of this thread and many of them will be taken on board at some point in the not too distant future.
Hope this helps |

Hi Rob,
The site is looking great, Nice to have the concert photos with Peter and the lads. Look forward to more photo's and news when you get the time. I can believe it's heaps of work putting this all together. Many thanks for all your hard work, it's the only way we can see what the Hollies are up to.

Hi Rob
The new look site is fantastic and I loved reading the profiles and all the other info you have put up so far.
I never thought there would be a time when I would be the same age as a Hollie, Peter is just 26 days old than me.
Bye For Now

Hi Rob
It's only in all the band profiles that Mum and I are having trouble. Some of the writing overlaps other writing and some photos are over the top of the writing as well. For example on Tony's profile page, his guitar collection and the photo in the bottom right corner is overlapping the writing.
I asked my Uncle (who installed the internet for us) what web browser we have and he said explorer 6.
All The Best

Cindy
What resolution are you viewing at?
The site is designed for Internet explorer 6 with a resolution of 1024 x 768
That is the standard setting for over 85% of all browsers used worldwide. and sholuld not be a problem.
All of the pages should be the same, if one is good, they all should be.
However do you have a "wheelmouse"
If so, hold down the ctrl key and move the wheel in one direction and you will see the screen fonts change. Set it to the right resolution so the the text is formatted correctly. |

Hi Rob!
The new page looks great but I've got the same problems that Cindy has. It's also on the info site about He Ain't Heavy... |

For anyone having problems with formatting on the new site in Internet Explorer do the following:-
At the top of the browser window, click on "View" then "Text Size" and select "Medium"
This is the setting the website is designed in and should resolve any formatting settings. |

Hi Rob
I did what you said in your lastest post (my browser was on large) and all of the profiles and everything else is perfect.
I love my brother dearly and I'm not being disrespectful of him but you were more helpful than he was.
Again, thankyou so much.
Best Wishes
Susie |
