If the tapes are of Television performances, stand ins would be used to fill the band at times and nobody can tell you who they are. For a stage show, it could be one of the many musicians who have guested for the band over time.

Hopefully, the details on the new website may shed some light when I am able to complete the various musicians section of the profiles.

Hopefully be able to do that over the next couple of months.

Any chance of a share Brandy? Start a little Rickfors Sings Hollies website. I'll upload my HAH and LCW and everyone can listen to them.

Tp paraphrase the scientist in the Six Million Dollar Man - an old, forgettable American TV series - "(I don't) have the technology"!

Did Jamie Moses not play with the band for a while pre-Alan Coates? I think he's featured on those tracks Blowin In The Wind and Write On live in Mainz in the early 80's. Question

James

No, not "pre-Alan Coates". He did a couple of dates with the Hollies when Alan wasn't available.
And no, Moses did not play on Blowin or Write On from the Mainz-show (nor on the other tracks from the concert Wink ), it was Alan Coates.
