Favourite new bands? My problem is I keep listening to so much old stuff that I don't have much time to listen to anything else. I certainly couldn't stand listening to radio 1. I try to keep up to date by listening to the 'Now' compilations and there are a few good artists out there. I think it's hard these days to get to know new artists as so many of them are here today and gone tomorrow. I'm quite fond of the Cosmic Rough Riders and the Electric Soft Parade.

I agree with Holliesfan, a 60's/70's 'flavoured' album would be nice.......or Anthony's live 60's/70's songs............but not another release of the 'Best ofs..."

I know what you mean Holliesfan Exclamation if I see another new best of album with the same old songs I think I will scream.

But it isn't The Hollies fault that all these greatest hits or best of albums keep coming out, it is the fault of the record company.

If they are going to release a compilation album why don't they have one of the best album tracks or 'B' sides. That would be something different.

All The Best

Susie,

You ought to get a CD of "The Other Side of the Hollies Plus". It's all B-sides.

Years ago, after listening to yet another scratched up B-side of a 45, I remember hoping that someone would someday put out a collection of the Hollies "flip sides". Never thought it would happen, though, and was shocked the day I found "TOSOFTHP" - it was if someone had read my mind. That day was quite memorable, finally hearing clean versions "Signs That Will Never Change", "All the World is Love" and others for the first time. Very Happy

Thanks Bruce Exclamation I will keep a look out for that CD. I do have 2 CD's with 'B' sides (as well their A's), The Hollies at Abbey Road - 1966-1970 and The Hollies A's and B's 1970-1979. Very Happy

All The Best

It's all about Oasis, Franz Ferdinand, The Zutons, Metallica(80's/90's/00's), The Darkness (seeing them on Wednesday at the Ice Arena Nottingham), The Strokes,
