Not sure how many of you heard about the World Idol competion that was held last month, but here's a brief article from the Canadian Press. At the end of the day, there's none better than Allan Clarke when it comes to singing lead on "He Ain't Heavy".

Canadian Idol winner Ryan Malcolm finishes sixth in worldwide competition

Canadian Press - Jan 01 10:05 PM
...In the Christmas Day show, Malcolm's performance of the Hollies classic
He Ain't Heavy (He's My Brother) was criticized by the judges for lacking
passion.

I thought Canada's Ryan Malcolm murdered the song! SO far noone has come up with a better version than Allan Clarke in my opinion... I can't say what Carl's version is like but I'll let you know my views on that after the 11 March gig Very Happy

My two fave tracks that are my all time favourites are He Ain't Heavy and also The Air That I Breath they are both incredibly awesome and it's hard to choose between them

Yup it would be great to have Bernie and Terry at the next convention, but what about having Graham Nash along......now that would be really awesome!

Gayle, where is NZ are you? My friend lives in Wellington.
