Hi,
After reading that The Hollies filmed a concert at Milton Keynes with Carl Wayne I searched for a review of the night but there are none. Did anyone attend this show? Can they offer an opinion?
Was this 2002 and if so did it follow the 2002 set list or did they add anything, make it longer because it was being filmed?
I would love to see Hicks' live sitar solo on The Baby.

Micheal,
The concert you have in mind took place on October 29, 2000. There is a short review by my friend Elaine on Carl's site (http://www.carlwayne.co.uk/).
Go to "Performance", then "Bands", then "Hollies", then "Gigography", scroll down the page a bit, and click on the Milton Keynes link. The set list was: I'm Alive / Here I Go Again / Jennifer Eccles / Just One Look / Soldier Song / Bus Stop / Flowers in The Rain / Butterfly / I Can't Let Go / King Midas In Reverse / The Baby / Blowing In The Wind / Stay / Sorry Suzanne / Yes I Will / Look Through Any Window / Peggy Sue Got Married / Blackbird / We're Through / Carrie Anne / Stop Stop Stop / The Air That I Breathe / Blackberry Way / Tiger Feet / Long Cool Woman In a Black Dress / He Ain't Heavy, He's My Brother
The sitar intro to "The Baby" is fantastic |
