Hey Shelley,
I was just reading a Cliff Richard concert review on your mhm site - at least I assume it is your site, judging by several scans of autographed items.
We all know backing singer Peter Howarth is now lead singing for the Hollies. The irony is, did you know that Steve Stroud, listed in Sue's review as Cliff's bass player, was bassist for the Hollies in the early-mid 80s
Steve did a cool bass "solo" on the live "Long Cool Woman (in a Black Dress)" on the Hollies' Archive Alive/Reunion. |

Hi Bruce,
Members of Cliff's band seem to be interchangeable with the Hollies, I remember the last time seeing Cliff in concert looking at Steve and thinking he was a Hollie for a time and I'd love to talk to him about his time in the band. Steve is seen in a few music clips too, like "This is it"
Bye,
Anthony |
