Anyone know of Arthur Lee and Love, started out in 1965, covered the Bachrach/David holdover, 'My Little Red Book' on their first album.
One of the first L.A. interacial bands that had (still today as well) a big cult following. Most diehards swear by their third release, Forever Changes' that has the f.m. anthem on it - You Set the Scene. Arthur has toured the Uk 2003, after serving a 6 year prison term for gun possession (Calif).
Brought a 10 piece orchestra with him (UK) to do material the orig line up
of Love never did! Currently touring the states. Very interesting guy.
Till the next... |

I only have the Forever Changes album and I absolutely love it. It's so great, almost all of the songs are fantastic.
I don't like the song Old Man, but that one wasn't written by Arthur Lee...
When I see another one cheap by them I will buy it.
Some weeks ago I've heard a live version of Bummer In The Summer from the new Arthur Lee solo tour, sounded good. |
