Just a few words to encourage you to lay your hands on this wonderful new double album. Crosby's voice is still strong, Nash continues with strong ballads in the old Hollies style. Some of them would have suited the present Hollies perfectly. Knut

Thanks for the info. I will look for that album.
Nash had a solo album out 2002 which is called Songs For Survivors.
I don't have it yet, has anybody heard that one and can tell me if it's worth looking for it.

It seems that we only get new Hollies-related material from Nash and Mikael Rickfors...

Songs For Survivors is very good - excellent sound (the booklet tells you the pains they went to in order to get the cleanest possbile sound when the tracks were being recorded). Nash's cover of Pavanne is particularly impressive. Cool

OK, then I have a new album that I've got to look for. But on Amazon.de it costs as a DVD Audio 26 Euro and as a normal CD 28 (!!!!!!!) Euro. That's a bit heavy. I will look if I'll get it cheaper.

Hi DistantLight!
Try www.101cd.com if you want the CD version of Songs for survivors
They sell it for £13, which isn't bad.
I've just bought a DVD audio player, but still haven't the surround equipment, so I've just played the DVDaudio version on my TV + stereo. Nice to follow the lyrics, though.
The Hollies deserve DVDaudio treatment of a greatest hits album!

Thanks for the info, Knut.
When I have money again I will perhaps buy it!
