That's neat An! A great song from my teenage years, always cheered me up and I was a big Mud fan at the time. What an interesting mix of artists!!! Elgar, Handel and Mud
No Hollies, unfortunately I can't wait to see/hear the Opening Ceremony.
I'm also looking forward to the Olympic torch/flame coming round my home town on the 23rd. |

I know this is a very old thread but the enthusiasm for Tiger Feet astounds me. Wasn't that the song that kept The air that I breathe off the No. 1 spot in England? |

I think The Hollies mentioned the story about Tiger Feet keeping Air off the top spot at one of their concerts, when Tiger Feet was included in the set list.
For me, at the time, I don't think I even knew 'Air' was by the Hollies! I probably considered it boring!! You had to be there to understand But saying that, Tiger Feet is still my favourite song, and it obviously has nothing to do with the words or music - it just is |

I didn't like Tiger Feet at all and thought it was sacrilege that a song as good as The air that I breathe could be kept off the top of the charts by a "novelty" record.
I liked Lean on me but not Tiger Feet - just not my kind of music |

'Billy Don't Be A Hero' by Paper Lace kept The Air That I Breathe off the No. 1 spot back in 1974. |
