I was wondering which Hollies song with Mikael Rickfors is your favorite.
The first 5 in the poll were released on a single. Not all in the UK though.
I can add more songs if someone wants.
I somehow can't get enough of 'If It Wasn't For The Reason That I Love You'. Just LOVE the guitar sound!
Jesus Was A Crossmaker would be a good second.
Cheers!

Sorry for the Jesus typo. No offense intended
Looks like I can't change the poll anymore... |

Hi Ro-Robert.
I've always liked Jesus Was A Crossmaker, but my favourite is If It Wasn't For The Reason That I Love You, and I agree with what you write about it.

While I believe that Jesus Was a Crossmaker was the Hollies finest song I don't think of it as one of Mikael's because Terry handled the vocals. However I don't think that the Hollies would have recorded the song with Allan Clarke so in a way it is Mikael's song too. My favorites, pretty much a tie, would be I Had a Dream, Don't Leave the Child Alone, The Last Wind, and the Baby. |
