Yesterday there wes a TV-programme about the swedish chart (Tio i topp) in the 60`s. If you look 15 minutes into the link below there´s a new interview with Tony Hicks and also wtih Graham Nash.

http://svtplay.se/t/173823/tio_i_topp_-_50_ar

I believe the link will only work for a short period.

I watched the programme. It was good. My mother, 84 years old, called and reminded me. She’d heard that the Hollies were going to be in the programme, and she was going to watch it. She used to be a fan, and still likes them, and remembers a lot of details about them and their songs.

Great program. I recorded it. The most important message was that the Hollies was the 2nd most popular group in Sweden, second only to the Beatles.

Almost the same story goes with my mother. She´s always been a great Hollies-fan. She met them in 1966 when they stayed at the hotel where she worked at the reception. She (almost?) fell in love with Allan Clarke. He even wanted to hypnotize her, but my mother said no thanks. A pity.
