I have collected every Allan Clarke album (i think!) Does any one know whether these are worth much? Also how do you think a signed 1994 tour boor with all there autographs on would be worth. Although it was a nightmare catching allan!!!! Very Happy

To be honest if it was a tour book from the 60's or 70's with the autographs it would be worth a lot more. From what I've seen on ebay Hollies signed items don't make much money. At the moment there are a few autographed items on ebay, a good idea might be to have a bit of a look and see what they are asking and getting.
Sadly they don't bring what they are really worth.

Allan Clarke albums (LP's, you mean?) are worth about as much as other LP's from that era.

I'd say that his first one (My Real Name Is 'Arold) is the most valuable, because it's never been released on CD.

But really, LP's are generally not worth a lot because not only do few people own turntables these days (with me as an exception), a lot of folks who WERE buying LP's back in the day have replaced their favorite LP's with CD releases of the same albums.

Clarke's first album now has a legitimate CD release, and as such I'd say it should purchased new.

Here's a link where you can find it.

Amazing that the fine song "Coward By Name" wasn't included as a bonus track, but I'm hardly the first person to voice that complaint.

I recommend this release heartily. Allan's voice is in top form here.

Great album but bad sound on MAgic, just like with "Out On The Road".
