| My goodness, the Hollies get nominated for the RRHOF and everyone goes into a deep sleep. Where have all the posters gone? |

| Hello all, I'm new to the Forum. I didn't know it existed until a few days ago! I usually only look at the news and tour pages. Anyway, great to find out from the Forum that The Hollies have been nominated to get into the RRHOF. I'm also surprised the news hasn't appeared on the home page, but I'm sure there must be a good reason for the silence? I've just found out that there is a 25th anniversary concert for the RRHOF at Madison Sq Gardens next week (29th Oct) and that Crosby, Stills, Nash & friends will be appearing. It says the 'friends' will be announced shortly. Hopefully this appearance by CSN will help to promote The Hollies in some way to be inducted next year? |

Welcome Dawn. You've come to the right place for all things Hollies. Thanks for bringing the RRHOF concert to my attention. I wasn't aware of it and I live across the river in New Jersey  . I'd love to know if "friends" is a hidden meaning for some of the members of the Hollies...hmmmmmmm. Could be interesting. |

Welcome Dawn. I always wondered why this forum was so well-hidden. I really think they should make it more noticeable on the front page. I actually found this forum while doing a google search on Hollies merchandise!
I live in NY. I knew about the concert but didn't want to pay for the tickets so I entered the Rolling Stone concert sweeps. I guess I didn't win since the drawing passed. Oh well. I suppose I'll save up for in case the Hollies actually DO get inducted, though it's doubtful I'll go. I'll just stand a block from the Waldorf  |

Hello Juniper, thanks for your welcome. I'm glad I'm not the only one who couldn't find the Forum. I found it by accident looking in the Music Archive. Anyway, it's a shame you can't get to the anniversary concert. Hopefully you can go to the Waldorf next year if the Hollies get in? Can 'normal' fans buy tickets or is it usually just for VIPs? |
