Just saw a YouTube video "Hard to forget" form 1986. It's totally new to me. Do you have any information about this song?

Thanx

The Hollies Recorded the song over 13-14 March and 14-15 April 1986 at "The Point" Studios, featuring Alan Coates on High Harmony vocals, and Denis Haines on Keyboards.

I always thought that Allan "forgetting" the song title was a planned joke. You think not?

Anyway, the song is not that dissimilar from the other stuff they were recording at the time, and it is surprising to me that it has yet to see an official release - or even a proper sound quality boot release.

Sure, it's way too heavy in the keyboard synthesizers. But, that's the way music was made at that time.

I surely wish I had a CD release of Hard To Forget, that's for sure.

Thank you for the information. Not too bad that song. I think there are still some candidates for a "Rarities 2" collection.

Things like that could only happen to 1980 / 1990s stuff by The Hollies. B-sides that never made it on CD and keeping that in mind it is no surprise that there are tracks from those decades that never made it onto a single. And I will never understand why.
Anyway, yes, it's time for a "Rarities, Volume 2" with this song on it.
