Hey everybody!
I'm new in this forum, so let me introduce myself to you!
I'm a (soon) 33 year old French fan of the Hollies, and I discovered the band about ten years ago (only!).
"Only", because I live an unlucky country that -let's admit it - never gave much space to the Hollies music, whether it be on the radio, or on TV...
The only Hollies song I knew when I was a child was "The Air That I Breathe". And my 60 year old mother didn't know them better than I do!!
But it's never too late to discover a great band, and I'll be glad to share my experience of the band with you in future posts!!
Enjoy the weekend!

Welcome to the Hollies forum, Isa! I would addvice you to go to a Hollies show as soon as you can, the fast train to London Waterloo gets you to England quicker than any of us Scandinavians can get to UK. |

_________________ Would you believe the Hollies had power to stay by evolution of their style from Buddy Holly ? That's for certain because they follow what goes around, write on and go out on the road. They did it then, they do it now - please do it always.

Hi Isa,
Better late than never, they made so much wonderful music over the years, I loved the Hollies early to mid 70's albums the best.
nice to have you join us here,
Welcome again,

YES!! That's my intention to go and see them play as soon as I can!!
I know for London, I've been there tons of times before with the Eurostar when I lived in the North of France The terminus no longer is at Waterloo though, but at St Pancras, and the journey from France to the UK is shorter!!
