Today the Norwegian National Broadcasting Corporation's Saturday radio programme P.I.L.S. (abbrevations translates to pilsner beer - full title is Popular music with some gossip added) featured Graham Nash and his ladies. If you like to listen, go to
http://nettradio.nrk.no/default.php?kanal=p1
Insert P.I.L.S. after Søk etter program
and then choose the date 7.3. a little above.
Sorry about the Norwgian language between songs, but the songs picked out are all about his ladies, from Carrie Anne (Marianne Faithfull), his English wife Rose that he left behind when emigrating to the US (Sleep song) via Our house, Simple man and Blue (Joni) over to Marguerita (two girls, Margerite and Suzanne, by a swimming pool) and ends with Song for Susan (Susan, present wife). |
