It was Bernie Calvert who played Bass Guitar on "Bus Stop" recorded on 18 May 1966.

Jack Bruce played Bass on "After The Fox" recorded on 10 May 1966.....along with the song's Composer Burt Bacharach on piano.

Between those two Recordings John Paul Jones, later of Led Zeppelin, played Bass Guiter on "Don't Run And Hide", Recorded on 17 May 1966.

Tony Hicks is Lead Guitarist on petty much ALL Hollies Recordings....tho' a few like say "Fifi The Flea"....and no doubt some other Graham Nash songs... were most likely just Graham picking or strumming on his Acoustic guitar, or probably featured Nash & Hicks together..such as "Clown", "Postcard" etc.

I believe Allan Clarke played Acoustic guitar on his song "Marigold" (1969)

Tony Hicks was joined on Guitar by Alan Parker (of Blue Mink, C.C.S. etc) for "I Shall Be Released" on "Hollies Sing Dylan" cut over 4-6 November 1969....

....and of course by Mike Rickfors on a fair amount of the "Rickfors Hollies" Recordings over 1972-73.

Mike Rickfors playing Electric & Acoustic guitars, plus Bass Guitar, Harmonica & Keyboards.

Allan Clarke played Lead Guitar on his "Long Cool Woman (In A Black Dress)" , tho' Tony Hicks played the famous Guitar intro.....
Tony then played Double Tracked Rhythm Guitar on the rest of the track.

Tony Hicks often played MORE than one guitar part on a Hollies track....then & now.

Remember Tony Hicks plays MANY types of guitars too...Gibson, 12 String Vox Phantom, Rickenbacker, Fuzz Guitar, Guitar/Sitar, Acoustic, Spanish 'Parker Fly' Guitar.....plus banjo etc.

Allan Clarke played Lead guitar on his song "Hold On" from "Distant Light" in 1971, and later played guitar on his "Curly Billy" in 1973.

Allan Clarke, no doubt played guitar on other Hollies tracks too...

Alan Coates probably played second Guitar alongside Tony Hicks on a number of "Eighties/Nineties" Hollies tracks....and certainly was Co-Lead Guitar notably on the Live version of "Purple Rain"

Steve Lauri is now featured as a Second Lead Guitarist....and was featured on both "Break Me" & "Weakness" on the "Staying Power" album...

Composer Rob Davis joining them on Additional Electric guitar on "Suspended Animation", and Acoustic guitar on "Let Love Pass".
