What are your thoughts about Graham Gouldman writing another song for the Hollies? |

100% yes
Even if for some unimagineable reason it is no good... it cannot take away from the songs he wrote decades ago for them. So yes! Love to see him give it a go |

I wonder if he's even in the song writing mode these days. |

I really would have liked to hear the present lineup of the Hollies' version of Wherever you are, recorded by Wax, written by Gouldman with Gold and Asia, who also recorded it. Beautiful lyrics:
Whenever your shadow falls on stony ground
And there's not a hand for you to hold
Whenever the dreams you dream come crashing down
Every time you think of home
Remember that you're not alone
And we'll be with you heart and soul
Wherever you are
And if you should lose your path along the way
And find yourself walking in the dark
Whenever the ones you love seem far away
Every time you think of home
Remember that you're not alone
And we'll be with you heart and soul
Wherever you are
Whenever the fears you hide come reaching through
Every time you think of home
Remember that you're not alone
And we'll be with you heart and soul
Every time you think of home
Remember that you're not alone
And we'll be with you heart and soul
We'll be with you heart and soul
Wherever you are
We're with you heart and soul |

I'd also like to add that Graham is very active these days, see the 10CC official website:

There is also a Gouldman/Godley website with some downloads:

I can see no reason why he should not be capable of writing another great song for the Hollies |
