4 CDs of Gerry & The Pacemakers......maybe a bit much, but I do like many of their recordings, and don't currently have anything on CD. It's supposed to have everything, but it omits some of the less-than-stellar tracks from 1966 produced by Ron Richards taking over for George Martin. These were middle-of-the-road covers such as "See You In September", "Strangers in the Night", etc.. released in the US on the "Girl on a Swing" LP and in Canada on the "Gerry...Today" LP, which went the US LP one better (or not) with 2 tracks not issued on the US LP. These were an attempt to get Gerry into the "adult" market, but they were just plain dire recordings, so it is good that they were left off this new Box Set. Should be worth picking up, especially with a full 1965 US concert in stereo! Hopefully EMI will follow it with a Box Set on Billy J. Kramer & The Dakotas.

I'm a big Gerry & the Pacemakers fan, I've seen him live several times and he is so professional, and still has a very good voice, add his dry English humour, and you have a perfect concert.
Thanks for the box set tip, I believe I have overlooked that one.
